I just installed freebsd on my second computer that is now dual booting to freebsd and winXP. what I need now is to have access to my NTFS partitions so I don't have to reboot everytime i need those files. I've found a webstie that talks about mount_ntfs but i have no clue how to use it.
Well, according to Google and http://www.freebsdforums.org you may need to recompile your kernel (with options ntfs) to support it. First thing to do is try mount -t and mount_ntfs. "man mount_ntfs" should tell you how to use it. Also, NTFS should be mounted read only - writing is not supported.
