I just installed freebsd on my second computer that is now dual booting to freebsd and winXP. what I need now is to have access to my NTFS partitions so I don't have to reboot everytime i need those files. I've found a webstie that talks about mount_ntfs but i have no clue how to use it.

Well, according to Google and you may need to recompile your kernel (with options ntfs) to support it. First thing to do is try mount -t and mount_ntfs. "man mount_ntfs" should tell you how to use it. Also, NTFS should be mounted read only - writing is not supported.
