Voodoo5 drivers...

Now that NVIDIA has purchased most of 3Dfx, what will happen to driver support for the current crop of Voodoo cards? Will NVIDIA pick up the tab, or will 3Dfx support the cards they already have on market? I was planning on buying a V5 5500, but now i'm not so sure. I'd appreciate some help here.

There was an article on the newsgroup saying that the developers left over from 3dfx in Belfast, Ireland were going to continue them also you can go here www.x3dfx.com . They also said that even if it isn't full scale production of drivers the developers(the ones who are left) didn't want to see thier hard work over the past months go to waste in saying that they would make them in thier own time(personal) Go to www.x3dfx.com that is the site now as far as I know.
