How do I check my FPS???

~ that is a "tilde", its SHIFT and the key right under ESC. Brings up the console in most games. Then you need to run some type of timedemo. Im not sure who to do one in a halflife type game

in halflife/counterstrike you type "timerefresh" in the console (what you get when you press the tilde(~) key. I have a Elsa Geforce2 GTS and I usually get around 300 FPS at the highest res in openGl when there isn't much lag (in counterstrike) for your information...
