Any Auctions in NYC area?

Saw the NJ auction posted and was excited until I saw Cherry Hill is
near Philly. Too far a drive from eastern Long Island. Anyone know of
any auctions in or close to the tri-state area? Thanx

You should browse the Sunday NYTimes auction section. Mostly local
store closeouts, but every so often, there will be a local auction that
has vids/pins. I got my SW upright few years back for $25 at an
auction in Staten Island.

I think you're stuck with the Cherry Hill one... I'm up near New Haven and
it's a hike to get down there, but there are people who drive alot farther
than I do. If you find any others please post.

Yeah, no kidding, you're lucky from NYC. I use to hit them all while
driving down from NH.

that's about as close as you're going to get...

personally I would have thought they would do better with a more Northerly
NJ spot (closer to the city and more central) but it's probably closer to
Ritterhoff's routs (I know he has a bunch of Wildwood spots) and since it's
his show...
