During the playing of Maui Wowee (Big Fish Games) I get the error
"Macromedia Projector has encountered a problem and needs to close".
I have redownloaded Macromedia Flash Player 7 and Shockwave Player,
and Quicktime Player. I have also tried setting the game to Windows
98 in the Compatability Wizard and disabling visual themes. Doing
all this resulted in being able to play the game up to about level 20,
then the game crashes every level after that. I don’t even get
through one level, usually about 4 or 5 keystrokes before it crashes.
I am running Windows XP Home on an AMD Athlon computer with 512mb ram
and 2 80G hard drives. I have Zone Alarm and AVG installed and
running all the time, and I run Ad-Aware and Spybot after every
internet visit. I also have Diskeeper 8, but only got this after I
purchased Maui Wowee, because XP told me I didn’t need to defrag when
I was pretty sure I did. I have about 30 games from this site, and
the same that I have purchased from other sites, and not one has this
problem.
Can anyone please help?
