Windows restore point.

Hi.Every time I try to restore my laptop to an earlier date,it tells me I
cant.
All the dates I have tried are highlighted,so I think I should be able to.
Running windows xp

If the troubleshooting tip TaurArian posted don't fix the problem it
will be necessary to disable and enable System Restore. This will
delete all existing restore points.
