New Radeon Drivers betteR?

Are they better? i just burnt them on a cd, i wont be home till later, so i can find out..... damn it

also which is better....... Windows 2000 or Windows 98se ? im seriously thinking of switching over to 2000 but im not sure if it will do my ATI any justace or slow down my games?

I have the newest 3056 drivers from the net... haven't even bothered with the original drivers, so couldn't tell you which ones are better, but these ones work for me...

I have dual-boot, between WinME & Win2000 with my ATI AIW Radeon.
I get better 3dmarks scores in WinME, by about 300... furthermore, it is not evenly distributed: In low resolutions, Win2000 actually has better framerates (when processor is the limiter, presumably). In the higher resolution/detail, when the card is the limiter, FPS is much lower in Win2000 than in WinME, presumably because Win2k is still oriented toward business and its graphics support isn't as great. So although it averages out to only 300 points difference, if you like playing your games in high-res, WinME/SE might be a better idea.

The Win2k is more stable though, and it may be just a glitch on my machine that's making it run slower -- most of similar glitches are... Plus, this is just an artificial benchmark test, games actually run fine on Win2k

I am having the problem with the Video in and out, The thing always freezes up when i try to resize... all you did was install Web TV feature in Me ? (its in 98 too.) and it workeD?

What are the 3065 driverS? i just downloaded that support DirectX 8 drivers or something............
I posted in the wrong thing about the video in/out, but any ideas on how to get it to work properly?

Whats your system's specs and your ...... 3d bench mark score?

AMD 1100, 256MB, Asus A7V, ATI AIW Radeon, in WinME, directx 8, 1005A, VIA 4.26 etc etc

4807 in 3dmarks standard (164Mhz)
5286 in 3dmards slightly OC-ed (182Mhz)

haven't tried going to 200Mhz yet...
