I have just upgraded my motheboard to an Asus CUSL2 (intel 815E chipset). This chipset has integrated graphics. I also have an old Creative TNT2 Ultra. Does anyone knows which one is faster? I'm pretty hapy with my TNT2 Ultra, but if the performances are similar I'll probably remove it.
Thanks for any info

TNT2 Ultra is FAR better, like maybe 3x to 4x better, mainly due to it's on-card memory. The 815E shares graphics memory with ram, so it's graphics just plain suck. Besides, you got a trick motherboard, why saddle it down with crappy video?

I'm using a P3 933mhz, and I haven't tried to overclock it yet. I just got it a few days ago and did'n't have the time to do any experiments...
But I was told I wouldn't be able to reliably overclock it though...

Yes, you can overclock it. It should go to 980 easily at 140MHZ. You might have to bump the voltage up slightly, to 1.70 or 1.75v, but htat won't hurt it. You can try taking it up to 1GHz+, I had my 700 up to 1015 reliably, maybe yours will do better! It should because it passed intel's 933 test. Mine wouldn't have (I had to raise the voltage to 1.70 to get it to 933, stock for cBO stepping is 1.65)

Most onboard video/sound is really bad in my opinion. I can't even recall anything that IS actually good.

Definitely, for now anyway, use the TNT2U on your board. However, with the CPU and MB you have, you would do well to upgrade to a GeForce 2 GTS or at least a GeForce 256 DDR or GF 2 MX at least. These cards will use more of the capability of the computer. Good Luck, Take-Out
