I get cold sweat coming down my back when opening the Fido bill these days,
not because of how many minutes I've used but because of the new ways the
Rogerized Fido is coming up with to rape me. I do like the way they're
giving me a "kiss" before they rape me: "Good news, SIMPLER pricing on
international roaming!" Bad news, it's going up from 29 cents (where I use
it) to $1.50 - only a 5 fold increase. Can you say gang bang? This ensures
that I won't even have their SIM card in my phone by accident while I'm
there.

How about long distance? ... Only a 2 fold increase. Good bye Roger's dog,
hello calling cards. US roaming? That went from 20 cents US to 50 cents
Cdn. That's also about a 2 fold increase, but hey... you don't have to mess
with the exchange rate right?

Let's not forget their ENHANCED network! A dream come true for all Fido
users, right? Well sure, if you're willing to pay 25 cents per minute...
what's more you won't even know what network you're on when that call from
mom comes in... are you gonna answer it?

I just noticed the Directory Assistance Rate - $1.50! Good news, you get a
FREE text message with the phone number. Bad news, you're still paying 3
times the service is really worth. I use the internet on my mobile to query
the phone number, it uses about 4K so even at their inflated price of 3
cents per K it still comes to only 12 cents. Oops, maybe I shouldn't have
mentioned that; it might be the topic of next month's rape.
