I sent a message to Elsa about problems I have been with inverted colors on TV output using the Elsa Gladiac Geforce2 GTS with video in/out module and Detonator 3 drivers. I upgraded to the D3 drivers because the Elsa drivers were not stable with WinMe not to mention slower. I got the D3 driver off the CDROM that Elsa sent with the video in/out module.

This is the reply I got:
"If you had this problem with an ELSA driver, we could try to help you, but not if you use an NVidia driver."

I replied:
"You post the D3 drivers on your web site and include them on you CD's as the only driver compatible for Window Me. Since the Elsa driver is not stable with WinMe and I want to output to my TV, I need some support."

I have yet to receive a reply.

By the way, I did ask for help with the Elsa drivers being unstable in WinMe. They replied by saying I should make sure no other devices are sharing IRQ with the video card--Duh! There were no further suggestions or replies after that. Their web site though suggests updating to the D3 drivers which they don't support.

!@#@$#@$%#$&*)@#!!!!!! You can fill in your own expletives.

Maybe you should have got a Radeon?

I don't know, seems like you had a nasty experience, but ELSA boards are getting great reviews, and they are apparently in the closest relationship with nVidia themselves...

NVidia Ref. drivers are officially not supported. Not by nVida. Not by Elsa or any other board companies. If the currently used driver is causing problems, alternative versions may work better. By the way, what driver version are you running? That might help someone make a more specific suggestion.

I personally own an ELSA and running Win98 SE.
And the performance is fantastic.

I was also surprised by the quality of the components. My OC'd GF2 MX is running at 200/215. I'm very happy with this purchase, though I admit I've not needed to contact ELSA tech support.

Try an ATi radeon it's good in 32-bit color games.

Cel 533 - 256mb sdram
15gb HD - ati radeon 32mb ddr (200/200)
SB live! mp3+ - win98 Beos

I have tried every version of the nVidia drivers. I am currently using 6.49. The problem, I found out,is that Elsa used a different TV-out chip than what other vendors are using and no one, not even Elsa, is supporting the chip yet with good drivers. I agree my performance from the card is excellent especially with the D3 drivers but I got the video in/out module because I occaisionally like to watch DVD movies on my TV. I will eventually get a dedicated DVD player but using my PC allows me to do it now.

Right now I think I am just stuck with having to switch to the Elsa driver anytime I want to watch a movie and then switch back when I want to do everything else. I have too many crashes with the Elsa driver to use it all the time. Hopefully, Elsa or nVidia will include support for the chip in a later driver. But for now, none of the D3 drivers do.

I am stuck with the Elsa card. It's too late for me to get another one. I just wanted to warn people what kind of support Elsa is providing on their cards. Hopefully if you already have one, you won't need it.
