Hi,

For some reason my laptop shifts into Caps on its own when I want to type a
web address in Internet Explorer. Also, it will not type a period, even
after hitting the Cap Lock key, it only types a carat above the period.
Therefore, the web address is useless. No matter what I do, I can't type a
period.

In Outlook, when I highlight one message, it will highlight several messages
below the one I want to highlight. When this happens, the reply button is
grayed out so I can't reply to any messages.

On the logoff screen, instead of "Standby", it says " Hibernate" eventhough
I didn't press the Shift key.

I've updated my BIOS, detected and repaired Microsoft Office 2003, scanned
for viruses and spyware. Still the same problem

The only way I can fix it is to reboot the computer. Then it works OK for a
while until the above-mentioned problems reappear on their own. Any help to
correct these problem would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,

Hans
