Hey guys,
Lately, I've been getting unusually low 3dmark2000 scores with my GF2MX card (6.31 drivers), Win2K, 256 PC133 CL2 Crucial, P3-600, DirectX 8.
The thing is that I just noticed that my Graphics Card has been sharing the same IRQ (IRQ 9) with several other PCI hardware components like my SBLive! and my RealTek 8029 Ethernet card along with some other stuff. Here are the specifics (it's in french, but I think one can figure it out):
IRQ 9 - Système compatible ACPI Microsoft
IRQ 9 - NVIDIA GeForce2 MX
IRQ 9 - Contrôleur d'hôte universel PCI vers USB Intel 82371AB/EB
IRQ 9 - Realtek RTL8029 PCI Ethernet NIC
IRQ 9 - Creative SB Live! Value (WDM)
Basically, my question is would that kind of load on the IRQ address where my GF2MX is located slow the performance of my card?
- Better go Green than Blue!
