I'm a bit confused. My local store sells the Radeon 32mb VE a lot cheaper than a normal Radeon 32mb. That doesn't sound right. The Radeon VE has TV out, DVI, DDR Ram so it should be a lot more expensive. What is going on? Am I missing something, what is wrong with the Radeon VE's?

This is second hand information so I won't swear by it.

I read here that the VE is clocked at 148 mhz where the Radeon DDR 32 mb is clocked at 166 mhz. The VE doesn't have a fan either.

check out my previous post "Same cards different pics"... the VE may be missing things such as the fan, and a few other pieces (theater chip, etc).... how much were you finding the VE for vs the other RAdeon?

So now we have ATI Radeon 32MB in regular, VE & SE versions?
Plus OEM and Retail variations?
Is there a 32MB SDR version to make things even more interesting? :)
