Can anyone get this combo to work?
I have looked at some newsgroups and it doesn't look promising. I get crashes anytime I try a 3D game or 3DMark2000.
I am going to try and update to the latest bios tonight and I will also be using the newest AGP driver from ALi.
Is there anything else I should know?

Every post that I have seen indicates the TNT2 works best with the old Detonator 2 drivers. I don't know which version numbers are applicable to Detonator 2, though. The 3.xx's were but I don't know if any of the 5.xx's are. I also don't know which DirectX you should use either.

You can find lot's of Detonators (50+) at

I just finished putting it in.
I put in WinMe and let it put in all the default Windows drivers. I didn't use NVidia drivers and I didn't use the ALi AGP driver and all is running fine so far. No crashes and no freezing in 3D apps such as 3D Mark2000
I got ~1300 points running the default benchmark.
I'm giving it to my parents so 3D gaming is not an issue, I just don't want it freezing up all the time.
