I've just bought a 1G flash drive to replace my smaller one. My XP
system has not had any issues with my current flash drive so I expected
no issues with the new one. I plugged it in, the system recognised it,
assigned it a drive letter and I transfered files to it without a
problem. I moved and opened files without any difficulty. Then I
unplugged it and thats when things went sour. When I replugged it back
in it was recognised, given a drive letter but when I tried to open it
I got the message "Please insert a disk into drive E".
I've tried it on another PC (running XP) but got the same result.

Has anyone got a solution or suggestion to fix it?

Vaughan (frustrated!)
