the best 3DMARK2000 score

I wanna see who's got the best 3dmark 2000 score. The best I have seen is 8200 but don't remember the components of that system. So if any got something close or higher, please let me know.

a guy with similar machine to mine, but with a GF2 Ultra instead of my wimpy Radeon got between 9200 and 9500, depending on his settings and cosmic radiation I suppose...

we both got computers from the same company (voodoo.ca), and I think they broke 10,000 on their testing machines (though I'm not positive; I *am* positive about the 9000+ score of the other guy)

I'll check his specs when I have time, but its either AMD 1.1 or 1.2 Gig Tbird (I think its 1.1), GF2 Ultra, 512MB SDR RAM (Crucial CAS2), Asus A7V, etc...
It runs a lean & mean version of WinME, and I'm sure his computer was tweaked before it was shipped... I don't know if he attempted OCing his card or CPU significantly yet, it appears he doesn't have much inclination as long as his computer is running fine... besides, he's getting 9200 already -- he doesn't really *need* to speed that baby up

The highest scores I've seen are about 10200 and some guys are going for 10400 now!

my PIII450 with 256MB Cas3 and an old ATI Rage 128 pumped out a little over 2000... same machine with a Radeon LE does 3478

I have 11,702 as my highest so far, only a few are higher. These are low res scores though, which is not usually indicative of gaming, (since I play Q3 in full HQ mode and it's smooth as silk.) I was running them to test max speed only. I will run the max res as soon as I get all the tweaks up. The top dog now is 11,998. I'm air cooled with a home-made Athlon.
I just ordered CAS2 crucial to replace my micron cas3 so that could help. I am running a Hurcules GTS/pro and yeah the 5 guys ahead are using Ultras I believe. I know I could be at the top if I had an Ultra but I can't see spending the extra $200 for a few FPS. My original prophet DDR is the fastest original geforce at 9690-3dmarks, not too shabby and I have a week to return the pro which I may- My orig. Prophet may be SWEEEET enough so I can save some $$
I would NOT recommend the Ultra for the price though- only a few FPS faster than a pro.

Hey, in order to claim the title you must use the default benchmark, 1024x768 resolution at 16-bit color. 640x480 does not count.

I never said I HAD the title, besides, I know and it won't be me unless I have a pentium 4 2100 (or something rediculous like that!), and pay a few hundred more for an Ultra. Even then, being on top only lasts as long as the next person's upgrade. We'll see what happens, and as I said, I will try what I have tonight and let you know!

I've only got about 6000 on a T-Bird 900, GeForce DDR and 256MB PC-100 CAS-3 SDRAM. I'm running Win2K and at 1024x768x32. Why're my scores so low anyway? Think it's just the video card?

Sorry, I didn't mean to come down on you. Some people just don't realize that the 1024x768 score is the one they need to compare with other people.

By the way, I would be very interested in your score as I am considering upgrading to a Geforce 2 GTS but might consider a Pro. Please post your system configuration with your score because the MadOnion database links don't work for people who aren't registered with MadOnion.

I have the highest score for a PIII450 ATI Rage 128 unfortunately I didnt submit it so I cant prove it till I get the card back in my system

...and I have the highest score for a Geforce SDR paired with a Duron (mine is posted) but it doesn't amount to much. 5644 doesn't even match a good, stock DDR Geforce even though my card is highly overclocked. Still it was fun reach that point and to know that all my tweaking, patching, and cursing has paid off.

I'm looking at the Radeon LE and the Radeon VE, myself. (I'm not sure what the difference is). I need a 3D card for a second system but being a K6-2 400 it isn't worth a large invesment. I'd use the Geforce and get a new card for my primary system but the Geforce works poorly on the FIC 503+ mobo.

The score on my new system is around 9350. It is a 1.2Ghz Athlon running at 1.33Ghz. It's using the Abit KT7A RAID MB, 256MB Rev 2 Mushkin 2-2-2 RAM, IBM 7200RPM ATA100 45GB Drive and a Hercules GeForce2 Ultra video card. I know I can get it higher, but I'm more concerned with stability.
