My friends son (really....it's not me, honest!), spilled water into his Dell N5110. It looks dead. http://img.tomshardware.com/forum/uk/icones/smilies/cry... Not much happens when attempting to power on. I've pulled the HD for data retreival (incredible how complicated that was). What I want to know is, since this is over a $1000 laptop, how do I tell if I need to replace the MB, power, cpu, or what? It would be worth a couple of a hundred dollars to replace a mobo if that was the issue.
