Hey all,

Il be quick here.

Im going to be purchasing a notebook in the next week, and I need your advice on what to get. I am willing to spend a maximum of $2000 Canadian. I need something with 512 ram, wireless networking, and a decent 3D card like a Radeon 9000.

I need those specs because I want to be using photoshop as well as max, not just surfing the net and writing emails because I would just get the cheapest notebook out there. I have had my eyes on the Compaq R3055CA because it has everything I mentioned above. Im also considering the Compaq X1050CA, which is the same price (1699 CDN) but is a Centrino 1.4ghz with 1024 cache and a Ati Radeon 9200 with 32 megs.

However, ive read some bad reviews about compaq products and am a little skeptical. If anyone could recomend something for me, I would really appreciate it. Thanks in advance everyone!
