I am attempting to install a custom screensaver into Windows XP Home. The
Screensaver shows up in the list, when I hit apply it seems to stay and I
can close the display window, just as I am closing it Apply becomes availabe
to click again as if changes have been made, and the window closes. If I
reopen the display window from Control Panel the changes have not been made.

Any help appreciated.

Hi

Is the screensaver an XP one or one from a previous version of Windows?
Some earlier version screensavers - i.e. from Windows ME, 98 etc. - won't
work in Windows XP.
