I have a intel celeron 700 with 128RAM and a 3dfx Voodoo3 3000. I can't play any recent 3D games, so i'm thinking of upgrading my graphics card.
I have $120 to spend, more or less.

What should i do? Should i buy the Radeon 32, the Annihilator gforce2 MX or should i wait?

I would go for a GeForce 2 MX. Not the one by Creative though...

That is really strange to hear that any body can’t play “any” 3D games with 700 CPU and VooDoo 3 card. I could play all of the games out there with my 600 MHz K7 classic and VooDoo 3. I mean any game, any 3D and any time, some of them had to be 600x800 but I could play them, I am not talking about the games that support Glide… heh

Post, we'll do the search...

Elsa.....or Radeon 32 DDR (LE or Regular not VE). At lower resolutions and less detail get the nVidia card, reason: Faster, better FSAA, 2d just as good at low resolutions, better drivers. At higher resolutions and 32 bit color the radeon 2d and 3d quality is better, hyperZ smooths out game play. GF2(mx) screams at 16 bit in which alot of people don't even notice the difference between 16 bit and 32 bit color (I wish I was that way).

You should be able to play any game out there with your set-up, perhaps it needs a little touch-up tune job.
However, in order to make an upgrade that can be noticed, I would go with the GeForce 2 MX or GeForce 256 DDR. Check out Sunway Graphics 3D company at http://www.sg3d.com. They have some of the best prices around and are HIGHLY rated at http://www.resellerratings.com. This is a good idea to check out always before ordering, you can read the posts by previous customers, some of which are really scary with the fly by night outfits that are usually the ones with the low price.
Leadtek are a good company and so is ASUS and I have had good luck with Guillemot (who DO send the rebate checks). Good Luck, Take-Out
