i have two external hardrives, well a laptop hardrive and a desktop hardrive in enclosures, and they were working fine with windows 7, but then i installed a virtual disc program virtual clonedrive and now they won't show up at all.

anyone else have a similar problem or know what may have happened, i already uninstalled the virtual clone disc program but it still won't load

do they show up in device manager? or disk management?

You probably just need to reassign driver letters / paths to them.
