Hi all i just bought giants and thought it was real cool, i got through the 1st 2 levels but the 3rd just locks up!
Why could i play through the 1st levels without any problems, but get them now?
my specs are:
duron 800
128mb @133
radeon 64mb ddr
asus a7pro mobo
win98 se
I've tried all i can think of, i dropped my ram speed to 100mhz still the same, tried 2x agp instead of 4x still the same,i tried the so called latest radeon drivers and that just made my comp go tit's up and i had to format my system,
next i tried changing the via 4in1 drivers, i was using version 4.25 then i tried 4.25a then i tried using windows standard drivers but the same happened with all of them.
I also thought that my system was over heating, so i left quake3 running for a few hours but that didn't lock!
What else can i try?
