Hi Guys,
of course after I bought my ABIT KT7A RAID and my ASUS V7700 Deluxe 32MB - I found out that there are problems
with that combination. I can not return my ASUS since the shop says there is nothing wrong with it !
My question is there anyone out there that got those two running and how did you do it ?
If not, which Geforce 2 GTS is running stable on the ABIT KT7A Raid ?
Who needs my ASUS for ... lets say 150 Bucks ?

I got the same config but with an ordinary KT7a.
And yes there is some problems with that but i got it to go with 100% stability after a while.
My config:
Abit KT7a 1GHz ThBrd
256Mb Certified P.O.S SDRAM @133Mhz
Asus v7700deluxe 32Mb DDR
Creative Live! 1024
Aopen HQ08 case
Seagate 30Gb baracuda II
Win 2000 Advanced Server 120day Trial

Try downloading these.

1:Asus v7700deluxe v6.49 drivers(DO NOT USE NVIDIAS DRIVERS!).
Asus deluxe board differs from the referense from nvidia and most of the time the Detonator drivers cause instability.

2: Via 4in1 v4.29final-USE!
3: MS service pack 1(if you use win 2k)
3: MS service pack via update v2-IMPORTANT!(win2k)
4: latest sound drivers-IMPORTANT!
5: set IRQ 5 in Bios to legacy ISA Device.
6: you can set fast setting in the bios.
7: Make sure you have 256Mb ram.
8: ALWAYS use 256-512-more HD space as Pagefile.
9: Make sure v7700d does NOT share IRQ with Network card, Soundcard, Raid controller.-IMPORTANT

And for game settings.
UT:
Use S3TC Open GL drivers from epics site. Enable S3tc.
Direct 3d and UT is buggy with Asus v6.49 and will hang.

Half-life(CS,TF):
Use Direct 3d and NOT Open GL. Open gl hangs after 10-20 min(memory leak?).

quake3: no problems.
for most games use direct 3d.
Use at least 64-128 Mb for AGP mem. Enable Fastwrite and AGP4x

It worked for me
And the Deluxe card is excellent when you get it to work.

I have the classic boot up beep problem with my KT7a and V7700 which has never been resolved, I just count to ten then hit reset and it works every time. For all the other problems I have got a lot of help from Pauls KT7A FAQ, just go to google and search for it as I think he's moving to a new site (some troubles at icrontus).
