How do MSI video cards stack up to others

I was just curious how the MSI brand video cards compare with other bigger (more expensive) companies like asus.
I want to upgrade from my geforce SDR to a geforce 2 gts and I saw the v7700 deluxe for $199 and the MSI MS-Star Force 815 Pro (MS-8815) nVIDIA(R) GeForce2 GTS Pro 64MB DDR with TV out for $215.

I'd say going from geforce 2 gts to geforce 2 gts pro is a pretty nice jump for a only $16 more. But I'm curious about the brand. I mean its so cheap and its got double the ram and a memory clock of 400 MHz instead of 333.
The other bit is the TV performance, I have the asus v6600 deluxe now and TV out freakin rocks.

To conclude I'm just curious on how stable this MSI card is, if there are good drivers for it (besides nvidia reference because asus has AWESOME driver support), and how the TV out quality is.
any input is appreciated.

I'll let you know in about a week.

I will be building a computer for my brother (something I do every year with his tax refund) and we have already ordered the MSI geforce2 GTS 32MB card. It looks great and it has S-video out for less than the the other brand name cards with no S-video out.

They make graphics cards? I wasnt all to impressed with their motherboards, but that was back in day with an AMD 750 chipset 6167. I would say with most GF2 card the boards are Nvidia reference designs anyway.

Speak softly and carry a big stick. Shooting your mouth off only proves you have a small one...

I have a MSI 816 GF2MX with Vid-out and it works fine. No complaints. Haven't tried overclocking the card itself yet. S-Video out is fine.
