I have rarely tried to use my search but it has never worked for me, I can
type in what i am looking gor but when i start the search it freezes and does
not respond.

any ideas on how to fix this??

Show the hidden files and folders Rightclick C:\Windows\Inf\srchasst.inf Click install. The required file is in ../I386 folder on
the XP CD
