No... not the city.. who the hell would want to own this place? :)

Looking for working or project B&W vids and early color vids from the
70's in PGH PA. I'm not paying out big bucks for these, but I am
offering whats fair for the both of us. If you have anything or know of

anyone, please let me know. This is for non profit and my personal
collection and preservation; not resale purposes. I have a soft spot
for preserving these vids. If you have or know anyone that has one of
these games that has given up on it, but would hate to see it smashed
or *gulp* converted.. I'm the guy you would want to have it. If or when

I lose interest or space, it would live out its life with another
collector of the same ethics as myself (I know of a few B&W collectors
that would ensure its survival)

I know it sounds cheesy and meaningless. But some people feel the same

way I do. I just wanted to let them know it would be taken care of by
the right person. More and more people are smashing them, converting
them, or letting them sit outside in the elements never to be seen
again. I just can't stand to see it happen. Consider me a local safe
haven for these :)

Trades for parts and/or service of other games is available in
exchange if you should so desire it. Else I pay cash.

Thanks in advance.

You don't have to glorify it, most people on here are into collecting
and restoring classics.
Anyways, you should contact Lloyd from the COW (coinopwarehouse.com)
and see if he has any games that you're interested in. His are almost
all fixer-uppers, and you can get great deals. The catch? Well, from
the 'burgh it's probably a little over a 2 hour drive, maybe
2:30-2:45..depending on where you're starting and the route you're
taking.

I agree...I just made my maiden voyage to COW in Hagerstown and picked
up a Qbert. A 3-hour drive one way (from Pittsburgh), but a great
Saturday trip for the wife and I.

Lloyd is really a great guy, and he has alot of great stuff! He's always
posting deals here.

What operator is still converting B&W games or even color games from
the '70s? I haven't seen an operator in Pittsburgh use anything older
than a Mortal Kombat cabinet for years and years. If you're not
putting out 25" golf/gun/driver, you're not making squat. There aren't
any kits that fit those cabinets anymore. I'm not sure what you're
seeing Matt.
