open gl + viagart.vxd = trouble

I got trouble running any open gl applications when I've installed the via 4in1 agp drivers (viagart.vxd) in turbo or normal mode. When I uninstall this driver everything is o.k but when installed the comp. just locks up. This doesn't affect any D3D apps though, can anybody help me ?

Specs:
CPU : Amd k6-2 333@380 (FSB 95)
MB : DFI K6BV3+ /66 (Via MVP3)
RAM : Micron 96 MB PC100 ECC CL3
Grph: Hercules ProphetII MX 32MB SDRAM C/M 175/166

The MVP3 Chipset has buggy AGP. Thats probably the problem.

I don't think so, cause without it the card performes very well but i gotta know if it can give me a boost or not
