Hey, I was wondering, I have been trying to find a decent laptop ever since all three of my computers (all macs) have somehow crashed. I have decided to try PC's and also want a laptop so it can be portable (I travel). I was trying to find a gaming laptop under or around $600, however this wouldnt run super heavy games just basic steam games (usually TF2) and Minecaft

I have found a laptop that I think might work

• 3rd generation Intel Core i3-3217U Processor( 1.80GHz 1600MHz 3MB)
• Windows 8 64
• Intel Integrated HD Graphics 4000
• 4.0GB PC3-12800 DDR3 SDRAM 1600 MHz
• 13.3" HD Glare with integrated camera 1366x768
• Multi-finger one-piece TouchPad without buttons
• 500GB 5400 rpm
• 3 Cell Li-Polymer
• Intel Centrino Wireless-N 2200BGN
• Bluetooth Version 4.0
• One year
• Notebook
• Integrated 1.0MP Camera
• HDMI (Out)

If this wont work for those games, please tell me, or if you have a better suggestion please give me feedback, thanks!

Hey Mhjxrtyhd,

Those specs look fine for what you sound like you would be doing. However, you don't specify the manufacturer of the laptop. I love my Dell Inspiron with a Sandy Bridge CPU. It works hard and plays hard and it plays hard without heating up too much. It has a 15" screen instead of your proposed 13" and it's still remarkably portable.

I would look into some of these laptops, but you seem to have the right idea. I don't think you could find too much of a dud.

Best regards,
Grant
