NVIDIA + VOODOO2 ?

Hi everybody,
I've got this Compaq Deskpro EP-PIII-450, which had an Matrox AGP MGA-200 video card and this one was looped to a Voodoo2-3dfx-16MB(CANOPUS) 3d-card (PCI), because the Matrox had no 3d accelleration.
Now, I have replaced the matrox with a NVIDIA AGP TNT2 PRO 16MB (which has 3d acceleration), when I loop this to the 3d-card or not, I can't see any real difference in video performance.
Questions:
Is this voodoo card no longer needed?
Will the NVIDIA card on itself (without the loop to the voodoo card) have better/same/worse performance?
Or will the loop to the voodoo card take away some of the load of the NVIDIA card?
Thanks in advance for your expert opinion!

Hmm.. let me take a stab at this..

1) The voodoo card is no longer needed (unless you want to run Glide games.. I've heard that they look terrific though)
2) The Nvidia card should have better performance than the
Voodoo2 card by virtue of the fact that:
a) its AGP -> more memory bandwidth
b) 16MB vs 12MB
c) Its a newer chip
3) No, the voodoo and the Nvidia card cannot "load balance"
in that sense.

Hope that has helped

You can link the voodoo2 with the geforce, and use it to play 'glide-only' games. I've got 2x12meg cards I took out because all my games played/looked better on the GTS. I'm still trying to find some family members to pawn them off on, but haven't gotten the chance yet.

Basically, it's a casualty.
