i was fixing a missing/corrupted file in the system32
folder......therefore went into recovery console to do it and was
unable to fix it...when i tried rebooting it the 2nd time, it shows
that i had a missing hal.dll file...therefore i attempt to replace that
missing file using recovery console and this is where the problem comes
in.....

nope...i did not get that error message.....the second time i got was
<system root> system32/hal.dll missing.......sorry...cant remember
clearly the exact words....
