Greetings,
I'm attempting to upgrade the video drivers for my NVIDIA Quadro FX4400 PCIe16 card (I'm running MATLAB and some of the OpenGL stuff is
hanging, so I thought upgrading would be be most logical first step).
Going through the Dell download page for my system recomends me the v71.84 (A02) driver release. I've tried installing it but it refuses to
detect that there's a second monitor connected to the system. Going to the Display Properties panel after right-clicking on the desktop only
shows one monitor, with no option to enable a second one. Going to the Device Manager shows a NVIDIA driver installed but question marks for
the driver details.
However, when I go back and install earlier v70.81 (A01) driver it seems to work fine, although I still get the same hanging problem in
MATLAB. I assume because this is the same driver release that is on the Resource CD.
Any ideas as to to where to go from here? Getting MATLAB to run properly with this card is critical to my work...
