I need help (Drivers) for a Savage 4 PCI 32mb running under Windows 2000. One set of drivers has Direct 3d support that fixes any display errors but screws the sound and openGL dosen't work. The other set displays incorrectly in Direct 3d but the sound works properly and so does OpenGL. I have tried all drivers from www.ReactorCritical.com and most drivers from www.savagenews.com. I have also tried the original s3 site but found nothing. The card's creator can be found at: www.powercolor.com.tw
Any assistance would be appreciated.

I'm sorry to break this news to you but I have a savage 4 chipset PCI chipset as well. In some games it is just flat out incompatible. I've tried just about every method you can think of. It's probably the reason S3 almost went out of buisness until Via swooped in. You may want to try out the card manufactures websight, I've found the most stability with my card from there.

It's just doesn't have a great deal of support unfortunately.
