Dell b130 screen goes blank

My Laptop is on but I cant see anything but a white blank screen..I think its a power problem..what you think?

Could be 1. bad LCD panel 2. bad backlight or 3. bad inverter or 4. fried video card.
My first guess would be LCD panel. Does it show anything at ANY time, like when booting, or does it go straight to white? What happens when you plug in an external monitor (does it have that option?)?
