I'm looking for my first laptop computer. I've been looking around but i don't really know which is the best for me.

I want a 15.6" screen, a webcam. At the very least 1366-by-768-pixel resolution, but one with better resolution I would accept if its within my budget.

I am willing to spend up to $800, but I would greatly prefer it to be less, especially if i have to buy Microsoft Word 2010 separately.

I really do not care if the laptop is touch screen or not. It has to have a webcam.

I want a really good battery life on it also. it must have at the very least 2 GB RAM. The screen must also be a matte or anti-glare preferably.

If anyone knows any affordable, new laptops that fit these specifications, please help me thank you in advance :)

Purpose ? Gaming or normal work ? here's 2 normal work laptops I found

How about the Samsung QX411-W01UB ?? Screens a bit smaller than what u asked , but great laptop.
or Asus U46E-BAL6 or , you could go to dell.com and choose what stuff you want in your laptop.
or i recommend the Asus N56DP

There is the DELL 15R Special Edition for $800. It has a dual core i5-3210m (2.5GHz) which should be more than what you need. It is the least expensive laptop with a 1920x1080 resolution that is sold by newegg. It also has a Radeon HD 7730m graphics card which is pretty decent for games, but I don't think you are really interested in games.

1920x1080 resolution screens are considered a "premium" option. If you want a less expensive laptop, then you need to go with 1366x768 resolution. You can buy the Lenovo IdeaPad G580 which has a 1366x768 resolution screen for $550. It uses the same CPU as the laptop above and it relies on the Intel HD 4000 for graphics.
