What could be causing these symptoms? WinXP Pro SP1 is the OS. I am
currently attempting to remove any and all spyware/viruses.

Hi, nocturnal, why not use the simple Keystroke-Commands?
ctrl/c = copy
ctrl/v = paste

Nocturnal, I also think you should scan the problematic computer for
