How do I disable an integrated Graphics card?

I have a sis 6326 that I'm trying to install, (cheap, I know) and I have an integrated sis 530 that I'm trying to remove the drivers for, but when I go into safe mode and load up the new drivers, and take out the old drivers, then re-start, when windows loads up, the thing re-installs the stupid sis 530 drivers. A little help?

by the way, It wasn't my idea to buy a compaq...lol

thx

Ack! compuke, hmmm... there might be a jumper on the motherboard that you would have to change to disable the onboard graphics. If there isn't a jumper option, you would then find the option in the bios to disable the onboard graphics. I'm not quite sure which button you push on startup to access the bios on your compaq model. Might be F10.
