My Help & Support stopped functioning.

I tried an install click on c:\windows\inf\pcheath.inf but could not locate
dataspec.xml anywhere (including on my OEM Win XP CD's [original Home, and
new Win XP SP2 CD]) .

I tried turning off and on the Help & Support Service feature via the Commad
line prompt utility, but despite showing XP Help & Support as re-enabled, the
XP feature has continued not to function.

Is a reinstall or repair of Help & Support or its enabling applications
possible? What other options are available? What is the best choice among
the options?

Thank you for your courteous attention to this matter.
