best drivers

There are tons of drivers for GeForce2 cards so could anyone tell me which one I should use? Stability is 1st priority but some speed would be nice too ;-)

I have a GeForce2 GTS 64MB.

Stability isn't usually an issue with the GF Cards. the best drivers for the performance are usually the nVidia Detonator drivers. the manufacturers drivers might have extra stuff if the card has extra features.

Most likely your card is stable. The 6.67 drivers are just about the fastest with win98, or so I keep hearing/reading. I use the 12.01 drivers with win2k, but I know not if they are as fast as the previous versions.

Keep track of the version numbers, and you can always downgrade/upgrade if you notice a performace hit.

If you want stability you probably want the detonator drivers with the WHQL certification (Microsoft's certification) or the nVidia Reference drivers.

6.50 are the latest reference drivers (pretty fast).
6.67 had the WHQL certification but I don't know if they are the latest with this distinction. (These are a hair slower than 6.50, only about 15 points in 3DMark2000).

I use 10.80 which are definitely the fastest in Windows 98SE but I just discovered they don't work with MTBR, (well at least not the demo). I'm trying to track down the problem. The drivers work well with every other program I use.
