I have a friend who has an i60c phone hooked up with Telus. He is having
trouble with the phone charging properly. He expresed interest in buying my
old i85s. I put his SIM card in my phone and powered up. First it asked for
the SIM PIN. He put that in. Then it asked for a special 8-digit code.
Anyone have a clue what this 8 digit special code is?

TELUS and Nextel both lock their phones to their own network. If you
dig around online, it may be possible to unlock the phone.

Ah, the miracle mile, where value wears a neon sombrero and there's
not a single church or library to offend the eye.
