Account Keyboard issues

Hey,

Well until about 30 minutes ago I figured I was fairly decent with
knowing windows and such, but this problem has me totally ripping my
hair out.

My friend has a korean sony webcam, last night for some reason it gave
her a dialog to redownload some drivers, so she clicked yes...now the
real problem begins.

On her main account, when she logs in, the keyboard is screwed up
bigtime, only certain keys work and other keys type various numbers.

I suspect that for some reason her keyboard may have been set to
korean.

I've tried to change all the keyboard settings in the control panel,
they all say US-English, but for some reason it's still screwed up.

I have done everything to change it to english, even going into the
registry and making sure the default/loading keyboard layout is for
409 (US-English).

the default for that account is set to 409, just as all the other
accounts are.

on the surface it looks exactly the same as the other accounts, just
the keyboard is screwed up....

any ideas?? I'm totally lost for once...
