I currently have a 4mb graphics card with MonsterII Voodoo2 3D accelerator. My processor is an AMDK6-2 300mhz. When i play black&white at 800x600, (and any other game with decent graphics at that res or higher), its chumpy but not unplayable. I'm just wondering what difference a GeForce2 64mb will make?? Will it be worth me getting one? Thanks guys....& gals!

I dont think a GTS 64Mb will make much difference. Granted that the GTS is alot faster than the voodoo2 but with a 300Mhz K6 you will be having alot more CPU limitations than GFX limits.

A better CPU is recomended first like a Duron 800 or similar
(at 1280*1024*32 the diff between a Duron 800 and a T-bird 1200 is close to nothing because of memory bandwith on the Graphics card)

A P3 is also a good choise (NOT Celeron!) its more of a economic difference between Intel and AMD and a P4 is too expensive.

Priority 1: Good GFX card (GTS-64/PRO/Ultra/Radeon64DDR)
Priority 2: Processor over 700-800 and 256Mb Ram(to avoid swapping)

It would be better for you to have a more recent generation processor to take advantage of the GeForce2, like an AMD Duron/T-bird, or an Intel PIII/IV.
