Aces got a final retail Kyro II board from Videologic (no fan unlike the Herc 4500). They put it too 201mhz by adding a small fan!!!! Thats 16% faster then Kyro II at stock 175mhz and a full 66% faster then the Kyro 1.

More about : kyro 201mhz

That's awesome!

I can hit 192 with no artifacting. I keep it at 190 to be safe. At 200 I have almost no artifacting in the temple demo, but serious sam becomes trouble then.

I added more thermal grease between the heatsink and the chip on my Hercules 4500 card. That seemed to do it. But that heatsink is a rather small piece of junk (no offense Hercules). I'm wondering what I can do with a standard heatsink and fan. I have no way to mount it unfortunately....

Or do I?
hmmm....

Yes you do. Grab some Arctic Silver Thermal Epoxy and a Blue Orb chipset cooler. I also recommend mixing the epoxy with a bit of some regular Arctic Silver thermal grease. Otherwise once you slap the Orb on your card, it will never come off.

Blah, Blah Blahh, Blahh, blahh blah blahh, blah blah.
