I want to know what company provides the best geforce 3, performance and drivers wise. I currently own a geforce 256 SDR from asus (the v6600 deluxe) and I get a huge FPS increase useing their drivers over the nvidia reference drivers. So I want to buy from a brand that is going to have that kind of support. Price is also an issue. I'd like to buy the visiontek because it sells at the best price, but I'm afraid its like a generic card.
The last thing I"m looking for is good video out. My asus has excelent video out, and I read the leadtek geforce 3 and the new asus geforce 3 both have nice video out, but I havn't heard about the visiontek.

If you have any info I'd love to hear it.

I haven't seen a geforce 3 shoot out yet. I imagine going with Asus again could be an option because you've liked their product in the past. Only thing is that they seem to be a bit pricy.

I have yet to see a GF3 either, but I would supposed that good manufacturers of previous nVidia based cards would be good choices. e.g. Leadtek, Hercules, Asus, etc.

I think the herculs prophetIII will be the best choice, they have one of the fastest gf3 card in the market, they have the best and newer driver, they have lot of features and lot of things coming with theire card, there is a tv/out in the card,
and they have one of the best qualty in the market, but the price of this card is very high.
And you have the elsa card that is very powerful too.
And you can wait for the creative card soon, i think it's gona be big.

I think Elsa make pretty good cards in general. They use high quality components. So, their GF3 shouldn't be anything different.

Thanks for the feed back. I think I might get the asus v8200 deluxe because I want nice video in and video out. If not I might try the visiontek because its cheap and because I could report back on it so you guys would know what kind of a card it is. I wish i had the money to buy one of each to do a shoot out.

This might help you decide a bit. It has quite a bit information on the different cards coming out. They say they are going to keep updating it as more information is learned.
