Dear community,

I'm having a green line displyaed at the top of the screen as soon as windows loads up. It then hangs completely.

I'm guessing this is something to do with IRQ sharing or whatever that nonsnense is (it's so annoying!)

I have a matrox G200 PCI and I have a PCI voodoo 2 3D accelerator.

My motherboard manual says that USB is shared with PCI 4 which is where my Voodoo 2 card was installed. I'm just going to go and try disabling USB now nad give it a shot, however if anyone can help, please do.

Beer is the devil's piss.

Voodoo 2 does not use any IRQs only memory adresses. So that will not solve your problems. The problem is with the newest reference driver for these cards from 3dfx.
Those drivers vill hang the VIA kt7/a/266 when installed.

I solved it by using a really old driver revision and then overwrite the glide(and OpenGL) driver files with the newer ones. I didn´t try with the D3d driver though.

See if that helps

Hey, thank you so much for your reply. I will try an older version of the driver but could you give an idea as to which files I have to overwrite?

Thank you very much.

Lets see.
3dfxVGL.dll (OpenGL driver)
Glide2x.dll/Glide3x.dll (Glide Drivers) glide2x.ovl=Dos

Those are the most important driver files.

It should help a little.
