I have a FF monitor and have access to a ELSA Synergy II 16MB AGP card. Will that card work with my monitor, or do I have to get another 3D Labs card to upgrade. Presently I have a 8MB Mirage FF card from 3D labs.

I highly doubt it what chipset does the synergy use? What fixed frequency montior do you currently have? I have some expeirance in this area but no expeirance with the video card in question. How much for the synergy?

( currently using a mirage illusionist 32 meg on a Sun Gdm 20d10)

A little bit of knowledge is a dangerous thing!

The ELSA Synergy II has a Nvidia RIVA TNT2 chip in it, and I have a Hitachi 21" screen..

Does this help any?? There is nothing in the ELSA documentation about using this with an FF monitor.. I am debating the Illusionist 32MB, so input there would also be a help..

what model is the hitachi monitor? I highly doubt it about the elsa card. It is possible with an ATI card but you will not see a screen until windows loads.
