For some odd reason when I uninstalled my USB PSX-USB converter driver in
Device manager my USB Philips Webcam has moved to Human interface devices
instead of USB controllers. Now I can't use my webcam anymore and when I
plugin my controller WinXP automaticly installs it as a HID compliant
instead of a USB controller. What did I do? How can I fix it?

Can anyone hlep me please I deperate,

Devon

HID is an acronym for Human Interface Device. In Windows this most
often refers to USB connected keyboard and/or mouse.

In Device Manager try removing all repeat all entries for USB
controllers, HID compliant devices and anything in the "Other Devices"
category. Then reboot the computer and let it redetect them.

Good luck
