I'm having a geforce 2 gts and i had a rather similar problem with 3dbenchmark 2000 last time. I was appalled at the low fps rate. Very similar to urs. I took my comp back to the seller and after he did a thorough check, he discovered that I had forgotten to install the Promise Ultra 100 Controller that came with my mobo. After that was done, my benchmark ran perfectly. Could this be ur problem? Good Luck.

Thanks, I actually just figured it out. The initial installation of the crappy Elsa drivers tha come with the card. Well I was never fully taking them out when I installed the new drivers. I took out all the elsa drivers, put in new 12 ones, got a 4112 benchmark
