Hi,

I have experienced trouble when my friend Jack trying to reinvite me to help
via remote assistance after we disconnected a successful session.

Initially my friend Jack invited me to help via the Remote Assistance with
Windows Messenger. Everything worked perfectly. So he concluded and
disconnected the session.

However, moments later, Jack wanted to re-invite me to help. So we went
through the same procedure. But we could not connect and we always get this
error message:
"Remote Assistance cannot connect because the novice is currently being
helped by an expert. Only one expert can provide help at a time."

The only way around this is for Jack to reboot his machine (I believe log
off and on will do too).

Has anyone experienced this problem? Any solution to this annoying problem.
I have since tested with a number of other users with different set up and
both experiencing the same problem.

We both are using XP SP2 and both using XP firewall. I am using Windows
Messenger 4.7

Thanks.

Bob

If he went to start/run, and typed FSMGMT.MSC , the looked at the Sessions folder, the menu would allow him to disconnect the remote
session ('disconnect all sessions' item on action menu)
