I've been looking a little but haven't been able to find side by side comparisons. I know the Leadtek has 4ns RAM I want to see how it compares to the Elsa and the Hercules. I won't buy ASUS, Gigabyte or Creative cause they always got problems.

all i can say is the prophet is the best bet at the moment, ive got the old 32mb gts which is "overclocked" as standard to be faster than the pro its performed marvelously on all occasions and i havent had a problem with it, my friends using creative cards have been having a lot more problems...

Well the prophet is about $100 more than any of the other cards. It better have a sh!t load of features for an extra hundred bucks!!

try to find it cheaper... i doubt its $100 better than the others but i would pay around $50 more for a hercules card, theyve done well enough for me with the gts for me to appreciate them a bit more than i would the other companies...

My appologies, I checked the prices and they're all about the same. The Elsa has 3.8 Ns RAM and I assume the Hercules is the same since they both run thier RAM at 460MHz. I think since the prices are pretty close I'll just go with the one that offers the most soft/hardware extras.

Well I have been reasearching this for a long time, but I say it is still to early to say. So far I can only tell that two companies actually have GeForce3 cards that are selling and are in stock. Those are the Leadtek and the Visiontek models. One thing to notice though is that all the cards have 4ns DDR ram except the ELSA Gladiac 920 which uses 3.8ns. Based on this fact I would say that the Elsa card is faster, but since this card is almost impossible to get right now there are not really any benchmarks to back up this clam. The Elsa Gladiac 920 should be out at the end of may or early June..but who knows.

The Elsa shoudln't be that hard to get hold of.

Mine is waiting for me in the Postoffice.... :D

If I can get hold of it in Sweden, it should be available just about everywhere... ;)

hmm, don't be fooled by that .2ns difference ...
If it's the same way that you count for the memory access in the computers, that .2 won't contribute to anything.
460Mhz ... 2.1ns/clock cycle. if it's already waiting for 2.1 ns and it's not done yet, then it's supposed to wait for 4.2ns, so the 4.0 is optimized enough.
If they used the cas2 though .. that's another story ...

I beginning to believe a big GF3 gathering for review is in the process. The time is about ripe. Many of the annoiced boards are now shipping.

Visiontek actually makes good cards for a cheap price. If they have the same memory as the Leadtek, but are cheaper, go with them
