By the time the Northwood is released for consumers, the Radeon2 should be out, or at least right around the corner. Theoretically the Radeon2 should trounce the GeForce3. But who knows, guess we'll all have to wait and see. But maybe by then there will be some type of GeForce3 Ultra.

I dont think anyone can make a suggestion until the Radeon2 is actually in someones hands.

Blah, Blah Blahh, Blahh, blahh blah blahh, blah blah.

ATi has a history of making great products, if you buy a Pentium, plus a new line up form ATI will bring the prices down for both manufactures, competition is always a good thing:)

If it works for you then don't fix it.

<i><b><font color=purple>Since the focus of the show was an incredible console war, ATI took their PC business to a nearby hotel where we were fed information about ATI's follow-up to the RADEON, R200. All of the juicy details (hardware specifications, additional technologies, and release dates) are still under tight wraps, but we can say that if ATI's next-generation part is a success, the days of low-polygon models and minimal geometry throughput will be over. On the bright side, you can expect more information regarding this latest technology within the next couple of weeks.

Maybe we will know something more definite in a couple of weeks.
